Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life by Barbara Kingsolver

Updated: Nov 8, 2020

About the book

This is the story of a year in which the author and her family made every attempt to feed themselves animals and vegetables whose provenance we really knew and of how their family was changed by their first year of deliberately eating food produced from the same place where they worked, went to school, loved our neighbors, drank the water and breathed the air.

What I love about it

The author is a wonderful writer and much of the information and storytelling was totally fascinating.
