Subsistence Practice in Peki

The pre -European era saw Peki engaging in various subsistence practices as means of generating income and for their sustenance.

These activities included :-

1. Blacksmithing

2. Kente weaving

3. Potting

4. Farming

5. Trading.

6. Goldsmithing.

Most of these practices have suprisingly phased out. Peki youth are shying away from them. Kente weaving ,potting are not attractive anymore. Blacksmiths are scarce. Goldsmiths ,do not feature as imcome generating activities anymore in the area .
