Privacy Statement

This statement describes how and when Peki Hub collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from people who fill in our registration forms. Please note our surveys are powered by two means, (1) Google Forms, which means Google’s use of your information is governed by their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. and (2) by an inbuilt form feature within our website.

Purpose of registration forms

Our forms allow us to collect registration data for; offline and online events/programs which we use for in-house research.

What Information We Collect

Our forms collect the responses you provide to the questions asked. There are two types of answers: defined responses, and free-form responses.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Aggregate data about the defined-response questions, and a de-identified sample of raw answers to the free-form response questions, may be published as infographics on our socials. Raw data will only be accessible to our research and other staff who need to process this information and are subject to non-disclosure obligations, with the exception of the circumstances described below. We may disclose any collected information when required by law when we have your permission when needed to protect our rights, privacy, safety, users, or the general public, and when necessary to enforce our Terms of Use or any other policy of ours.

Licensing of Form Responses

By answering the free-form response questions, you agree that we may record your answers, and agree to donate them to the public domain where necessary under the terms of Creative Commons Zero 1.0

Important Information

Peki Hub is committed to promoting free and open knowledge. In submitting your survey responses, you understand that the information transferred to Peki Hub will be collected, transferred, stored, processed, disclosed and otherwise used in Ghana as described in this Privacy Statement. You also understand that the information may be transferred by us from Ghana to other countries, which may have different or less stringent data protection laws in order to carry out the aforementioned purposes and objectives. Peki Hub understands the importance of user privacy. For this reason, we work to protect our users from the unauthorized disclosure or use of the information we maintain. The raw data collected in all our registration forms will be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated within 365 days. See our data retention guidelines for more information.
